I have had animals all my life. From fish tanks, snakes and birds to dogs, cats, 
 ferrets and rabbits. We literally had to have two of each pet. One for me and one
 for my brother. Now that I have children of my own, I find myself doing the same 
 thing.
      I have worked seven years at a pet store several years were in a supervisory
 capacity. I have also worked for six years as a veterinary technician's assistant and
 office staff. During this time I volunteered to help raise and care for orphaned and
 injured wildlife with a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and still do. I also
 volunteered with a service dog organization. We fostered and obedience trained a
 puppy through them. I am currently certified in Pet First Aid and CPR through
 the American Red Cross. Also, I have completed a course through Humane Society
 University on Interpreting Animal Behavior for Safe Handling.

  My Family and I have cared for many pets for friends, neighbors, family and enjoy doing it. I believe that having pets in our lives help us to learn patience, understanding and how life begins and ends.  By having and raising pets my children have learned these important values.
    We take the welfare of your pets and animals in general very seriously but would be lying to say we don't enjoy every minute of it.
